Rent Building J - Events Center

Elgin Community College allows businesses, corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and community groups to rent college facilities and grounds when these spaces are not used for ECC programs, services, and activities. This rental service extends to various needs, including conferences, trade shows, and other events. It's important to note that college facilities cannot schedule personal and private social events.

To ensure the appropriateness and feasibility of each request, ECC reserves the right to approve all rental requests. Insurance may be required as part of the facility's use application process. Each college facility may feature unique pricing structures and policies tailored to accommodate diverse requirements. Whether hosting conferences, trade shows, or other events, ECC strives to provide a flexible and professional environment for external organizations to benefit from its state-of-the-art facilities and grounds.

Facilities

Gymnasium

• Features three NCAA basketball courts.
• Converts into three NCAA volleyball courts.
• Converts into two tennis courts.
• Walking track overlooking the main lobby and courts.

Stadium seating is available for 1,550. Floor seats accommodate up to 900. With portable staging, the Building J Events Center can host events for groups as large as 2,500.

• 11 feet and 10 inch ceilings

Athletic Fields
