Spring 2021 Offerings
The majority of spring classes are being delivered online in either a synchronous or asynchronous format. A limited number of hybrid courses will be offered. Hybrid classes will conclude their in-person component on Sunday, May 9, 2021, two weeks prior to the end of the spring semester, while the online portion of these classes may be scheduled through the end of the semester. Associate Degrees
An Associate Degree from Elgin Community College provides the knowledge and skillset required to obtain immediate employment or transfer to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Basic Certificates
ECC offers basic certificates that provide quick and focused programs of study. Most of our certificate curriculums are between 1-29 credit hours.

ECC offers vocational certificates that develop additional skills that lead to pay raises and career advancement. A vocational certificate at ECC can be earned within 30-50 credit-hours.
