Registration for fall credit classes is underway at Elgin Community College and will continue until the semester starts on August 21. College staff are ready and available to help new students through the application and enrollment process. Students should register as soon as possible to get the best selection of courses and times.

To help students with enrollment and registration, ECC is offering extended Saturday hours, both in-person and remote, on Saturday, August 12, from 9 am to 3 pm and Saturday, August 19, from 9 am to 3 pm, in addition to regular hours Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 7 pm.

Staff will be available to assist with all aspects of the enrollment process, including:

  • Academic Advising and Admissions and Recruitment to answer questions on how to apply and be admitted to ECC.
  • Bookstore for assistance with purchasing books and supplies.
  • Financial Aid for information and resources on how to pay for college, scholarships, and access tuition assistance.
  • Registration to sign up for needed classes.
  • Student Accounts to assist with payment plans and account balances.
  • Testing Center to set up on-campus and remote placement tests and other exams.

In-person services will be available at ECC’s Spartan Drive campus, 1700 Spartan Drive in Elgin. Visitors may prefer Entrance A-2 for easy access to Student Service offices. Parking lots A and B are the best options for accessing campus.

Live chat is also available during this time at elgin.edu/chat.
