ECC Celebrates Black History Month

Elgin Community College's celebration of Black History Month reflects the 2022 national theme of Black Health and Wellness: Fortifying the Mind, Body, and Soul, with in-person, virtual, and hybrid events topics such as mental health, healthy eating, and relationships.

"Health is such an important topic in Black communities," said Jasmine Young, wellness professional and member of the Black History Month planning committee. "I am looking forward to all of the great information that will be shared during this year's Black History Month events. Information is power, and the events that are planned for the month will provide knowledge that will be empowering for all."
