Elgin Community College across Lake Spartan

The Board of Trustees of Community College District 509, Elgin Community College, announces a vacancy on the Board of Trustees due to the resignation of Jeffrey A. Meyer, JD. Under Illinois law, the board will appoint a trustee to fill the vacant seat from December 17, 2021, until the next consolidated election on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

A candidate must be:

  1. A citizen of the United States,
  2. Of the age of 18 years or over, and
  3. A resident for at least one year immediately preceding the election, of the State and the territory which, on the date of the election, is included in the community college district. (ECC Dist. 509 is comprised of unit school districts U-46, 300, 301, and 303.)
