The Elgin Community College Foundation recently added five new directors to its board. A five-member executive committee and 16 directors now make up the ECCF board, all of whom are independently elected.

The newest members include Patrick Parks, ECC professor emeritus of English composition from 1986 – 2012; Richard (Rick) Green, ECC professor emeritus of automotive from 1978 – 2008 and ECC alumni; Sergio Rodriguez, Vice President of IT and Marketing at the Kane County Teachers Credit Union and ECC alumni; Sergio Anaya, assistant manager at Prairie Community Bank; and John M. Anderson, Vice President of Product Innovation at Utica National Insurance Group.

“We are thrilled to welcome these five new board members to the ECC Foundation,” said David Davin, executive director of institutional advancement and ECC foundation. “They each bring unique skills and perspectives to the table that the Foundation needs as we continue to help fulfill our mission to improve lives through learning.”

Founded in 1984, the ECC Foundation raises funds through private donations to remove financial barriers, reward academic excellence, and advance learning for ECC students. For more information about giving opportunities, contact the ECC Foundation at 847-214-7377 or visitwww.elgin.edu/eccfoundation.
