Safe Zone

Safe Zone is a program created specifically for colleges and universities to increase knowledge of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) diversity and acceptance. This is achieved by providing LGBTQ education and facilitating exercises that promote new perspectives regarding:

  • Stereotypes of the LGBTQ community
  • Heterosexual privilege
  • Challenges within the LGBTQ community regarding:
    • Societal acceptance
    • Their individual process of coming out

We're here to help.
