Veterans Support Services
Whether starting college for the first time or re-entering college, ECC welcomes veterans home to a great college experience. Music, Arts & Drama
You can audition for or direct a play, join the concert choir or the steel band, stage an art exhibit, write for SPIRE, our student-run literary publication. The art scene is alive and well at ECC. Learn more about the arts center
Volunteer Opportunities
Lend a hand and meet new people at the same time. Volunteer opportunities include the Spartan Pantry, collecting school supplies for our annual Project Backpack, and leading new student orientation sessions through a paid position as a Spartan Leader. Learn more about volunteer opportunities
Child Care
The ECC Early Childhood Lab School offers flexible, campus-based child care for children ages six-weeks through 5 years. Financial aid and state subsidies are accepted, and additional child care assistance is available to PELL eligible students through CCAMPIS Grant funding. Limited space is available each semester. Legal Clinics
You can meet with an attorney for legal advice and/or information on law-related careers. Legal clinics are free and offered several times each semester. Please get in touch with the Office of Student Life for the semester schedule. You must be currently enrolled at ECC.
Student ID
Take advantage of student discounts! Go to the Office of Student Life, Building B, Room B173, and we'll take your picture. Bring your current class schedule and photo ID. Your first ID is free. Replacements cost $5 each.
Voter Registration
Exercise your right as a citizen. Take a minute to register to vote. Student Government sponsors voter registration drives in the fall and spring semesters. Register to vote online at the Illinois State Board of Elections website.
